Welcome to the website of the Robertsham Muslim Jamaat (RMJ). The RMJ was established in 1992 by community members in the south of Johannesburg, and resulted in the first mosque in the area being built. This was the start of many initiatives to improve the services and facilities available to Muslim families in this part of the city. Additional facilities were established, which includes the Al Huda Girls Academy, the Preschool, Madrasah, and Hifz classes.
The facilities are entirely maintained through contributions received from various donors in the community, and is a registered Section 21 company with the South African government. Our registration number is 1992/002725/08.
